Brochure
AKuClick was originally entitled "Aqubanc Kintera
CoMarketed Solution". While this is fine for agreements
and contracts, the name is not really very catchy or
marketing oriented. Hence, the new name is "AKuClick"
which encompasses the Aqubanc Cheque 21 System
components and Aqubanc as a Kintera Strategic Referral
Partner and Kintera Connect Partner:

Kintera is the difference! AKuClick can directly work
with the Kintera Gift Entry application which is a huge
difference between Kintera and other fundraising
software. The Kintera direct connection makes use of
flexible, high value Kodak scanners for imaging all
types of gifts, donations, checks, reply devices and
response devices. Then AKuClick can populate Kintera
Gift Entry for donor, gift and even eligible check data
for making electronic check deposits from within
Kintera. While these differences set AKuClick apart,
AKuClick continues as part of the Cheque 21 System which
gives Kintera users choices when they need it.
Kintera non-profit organizations, their regions,
districts, and, chapters are challenged by their donors
to properly steward their gifts. This is not always a
simple mission to execute:
- The donor sent a gift using one of
the non-profits Reply Devices
- The donor sent a letter with the
gift
- The donor sent a gift in an
envelope
- The donor only sent a Reply or
Response Device
Before the donor's gift can even be
accepted, the donor has quadrupled the non-profits work.
One task remains clear: your donor's gift needs to be
handled in a timely manner and this is how a Cheque 21
System can help you better Steward Your Resources. Each
and every Cheque 21 System brings together product and
partner components to make your mission simpler to
execute.
Where are these gifts received?
- At a caging or lockbox service?
- In your mail room
- By Gift Receipting or Gift
Processing
- By Fundraising, by Major Gifts, or
even by your Executive Director
When everyone is handling these gifts,
then gift acceptance can take 2 or 3 days or even a week
or more. Shortening gift acceptance can be accomplished
by routing gifts onto a common path:

Once on this common path, gifts are
opened and sorted into Like-Types which are simply
grouping types of physical documents together:
- Check-sized Reply Devices with
their Checks
- Only Check-sized Reply Devices
- Only Checks
- Checks with Reply Device and/or
Exceptionals that are larger than 4? by 8.5?
- Only Exceptionals
The common path is split to make the process simpler and
easier to execute. The image scanners are different, the
results are the same:
- Images are captured
- Check/Cheque MICR and Amount can
be recognized
- Reply Device OCR and Machine Print
can be recognized
- VisuallyVerify and Key-from-image
- Achieve Data Excellence.
When Like-Type sorting is completed,
then the Cheque 21 System usually offers two imaging
paths for these gifts:
- Check-sized Reply Devices are
imaged on a Digital Check Image Scanner
- Exceptionals are imaged on a Kodak
Image Scanner System

Now for Kintera users, AKuClick enables
the imaging of all Like-Types on the Kodak Image Scanner
System.

AKuClick with the Kodak Image Scanner System has:
- Image capture of the front and
back of each gift transaction is completed
- MICR for Bank Routing, Checking
Account, Check Number are captured
- Check Amount is recognized and
captured
- Machine Print on the Check and
Reply Device is recognized and captured
- Gift transaction images are posted
inside Kintera Gift Entry with mouse gestures
- VisuallyVerify by the Gift Entry
operator was completed
- Data Excellence inside Kintera
Gift Entry is achieved.
Data Excellence is not a luxury, your
non-profit can't afford to incorrectly post a gift
because the penalty for failure is usually losing the
donor for life. If it costs $25, $50 or more to acquire
a donor, the price of failure is very steep indeed.

You've achieved data excellence while
delivering AKuClick captured donor and gift data along
with all gift transaction images into Kintera Sphere's
Donor Management System.
You've converted eligible checks and electronically
deposited them through Kintera Sphere to your bank,
leaving you plenty of time to walk to the bank twice
weekly to deposit ineligible checks. Electronically
depositing checks the same day you've received them from
your donor with AKuClick.
Your AuditorArchive provides alternative access to all
transactions captured through the Kodak Image Scanning
System and AKuClick. Now that you have more free time,
you can start imaging other documents within your
non-profit.
Aqubanc's first Kintera Connect
application: AKuClick lets Kintera clients use a Kodak
Image Scanning System with Aqubanc's Cheque 21 System to
create an automated, cost-effective, in-house solution
for processing paper-based donations, registrations,
gifts and checks.
AKuClick is a great way for
Kintera clients to leverage imaging technology to reduce
data entry and increase accuracy. AKuClick underwrites
the ability to store gift transaction with their check
images electronically and link each transaction's images
to the appropriate Kintera Sphere Donor Management
System.
Aqubanc leases the complete Cheque 21
System with AKuClick for 3 or 5 years to make entry
easier for Kintera's clients. The Aqubanc lease includes
Kodak Imaging Scanning System, AKuClick, and maintenance
for the entire lease term, and, connection to Kintera's
Gift Entry application.
